#28

Tyler the Creator, photographed in his hometown of Los Angeles, dons the cover of #28 of Fantastic Man. In the issue there’s an interview with the rapper while on a whirlwind spree through Paris. There’s also conversations with photographer Walter Pfeiffer, musical siblings The Lemon Twigs, meditation master Bob Roth, and the singing artist Nico Vascellari. Elsewhere, there’s a welcome return of the Men’s Top 40 and essays on the resurgence of radio and the invigorating effects of a high waistline.

#27

the Autumn/Winter edition had been published just before MagShuffle went live so this is the first edition that has been made available to MagShuffle subscribers, and this one takes in the full scope of ages in its profiles from 14-78. the issue opens with a fascinating article on the irrelevance of age and a cultivated cooperative attitude of generational difference. profiles include: Phillip Picardi and Joseph Fiennes, and there’s some stellar fashion photography, especially that of Mark Peckmezian who brings out the bold colours of the ‘don’t give a damn what people think’ generation.
