lobby is an annual architecture magazine produced by students and alumni at the bartlett school of architecture. told with wit and flair it draws on abstract themes of architecture and the built environment.



LOBBY return with their biggest issue yet themed around the year 1961. it explores ‘the forgotten, understated and latent peculiarities of that year, as well as the historic turning points that moulded our understanding of the environment, of urbanism, space and humanity—and the inextricable link between them all’. they look back at the beatles, the nobel prize of literature winner from that year, the angolan war of independence, brutalism and much more.
